How to add Binance smart chain (BSc) network through metamask?

Adding Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Network through MetaMask manually is a bit longer a process. First, you need to open your MetaMask browser extension. Click on the current Mainnet in the top-middle section. By default, this should say “Ethereum Mainnet”. This will open a drop-down menu, where you need to click on “Add Network”.

Should I add BnB or BnB smart chain tokens to metamask?

We recommend adding both if you intend to use MetaMask to transfer BNB or BNB Smart Chain tokens. Once you Save the Network and return to the main view, you’ll notice two things: the network has automatically been set to the one you just entered, and the units are no longer denominated in ETH, but in BNB.

What can I do with BSc mainnet configured on metamask?

With BSC mainnet configured on Metamask, you will be able to store BNB and BEP20 tokens on your Metamask wallet, trade BEP20 tokens on decentralized exchanges like Pancakeswap, deploy BSC tokens directly with your Metamask wallet, purchase NFTs on the Binance Smart Chain, access DApps deployed on the Binance Smart Chain and more.

Does metamask work with other blockchains?

If you’re just getting started with a MetaMask wallet, you may not realize that you can connect it with many other blockchains beyond Ethereum. MetaMask is extremely versatile and is compatible with most decentralized applications (dapps) and decentralized exchanges (DEXs), including the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
